Welcome to Alien RPG and Halifax | Episode 38 | Regroup. The crew is finally free from LV-779 but the work is far from done. Halifax continues to have an issue with a virus resulting in an inoperable cargo ship. Some indications suggest a significant battle took place in front of LV-779 while the crew was trapped inside. The worst part is the silence. The silence can’t be a good indicator. That usually means something wrong is bound to happen.

The crew has been and continues to be in survival mode. The only difference now is that they can regroup and are free to explore. They are still trapped on LV-779 but at least they can have some time to plan and decide what to do next.

There is some time for respite. Fortunately for the crew, the Halifax has food and water so they can fuel up without worrying about using up the supplies they are carrying. Halifax has been ransacked and can’t lift off but at least there is power. Basic operations are still available.

While the crew regroups, we should talk about what lies ahead. The current goal is to get to the roof of LV-779. The crew is not sure what they will find up there but all indicators are telling them there is something important up there. In order to get to the roof, the crew needs to find keycards to unlock the door.

The crew has found one card. They have to keep searching for the remaining cards. This means that they will need to reenter LV-779 in order to find them. The crew probably doesn’t feel so good about the idea but what else can they do?

I have put my players through hell with season three. I’ve needed to regroup myself. I knew getting through LV-779 was going to be hard but I didn’t know it would be this hard. Regardless, they continue to push forward despite the harsh environment and challenging encounters. They are survivors and I believe in them.

I’ve been having a blast. Everything looks very different from my perspective but I can’t say anything in case one of my players reads this entry. They will be rewarded for their efforts once they figure out how to wrap things up in LV-779.

This is the story of Halifax, an M-Class Commercial Starfreighter under the ownership of Weyland-Yutani, a large multinational conglomerate. The Wey-Yu employed crew aboard Halifax takes on cargo delivery jobs that dispatch them across the Stars of the Middle Heavens. However, space is a dangerous place, and the unimaginable is bound to happen.

The story of Halifax is set within the Alien universe. We are a team of five and we work together to tell the story. Our adventure begins in the year 2179, the same year that Ellen Ripley is recovered from the Nostromo, survives LV-426, and then is lost on Florina 161.
