Halifax: Precious Cargo betwixt Dragons and Ghosts is back in 2022. Welcome to Alien RPG: Episode 14.
The Alien RPG campaign kicks off with an epilogue to season one. Halifax wasn’t left in a good spot to start off season two so an epilogue was needed to get Halifax in a spot that makes sense.
We got a job to do
Despite everything that happened in episode 12 and episode 13, Halifax has a job to do. The distress call came in while Halifax was on its way to make a delivery to Ethea and Ethea is still waiting for that delivery. Halifax gathers their sanity and heads to Ethea to complete the job.
The trip to Ethea is a simple one. The cargo delivery takes half a day and before we know it, Halifax is on to Lumina Station.
Halifax heads to Lumina Station per Kate Parker’s request. Weyland-Yutani gives Halifax a week off to recoup from their loss and to meet their replacement crew members.
Weyland-Yutani doesn’t waste time. Halifax should be grateful for the time off they have been given. However, time is money and a sitting ship doesn’t make money. A week off doesn’t seem like much but there isn’t much else that can be done.
MU/TH/UR: Log entry fourteen.halifax
Halifax had been left floating in space after a terrible incident occurred after answering a distress call coming from Aeon Station. I needed to get Halifax in a better position to start Season Two. Episode 14 serves that purpose.
Halifax has lost crew members and acquired an android that they have no idea what to do with. However, it was important for me to show how important Imogen is to them and to the universe. Halifax will have to figure out what to do with the information given to them.
Lumina Station is based on the Novgorod space station contained within the Alien RPG core rulebook. I’ve decided to use the Novgorod space station as a template for all of the large space stations that I may create in the future. While these space stations are considered to be neutral, Novgorod is a Seegson space ship and I wanted a Weyland-Yutani space ship hence Lumina Station.
